Our company is the first and so far the only branch of Advanced Filtration Systems Incorporated (AFSI) which has a production plant in the city of Champaign, Illinois, USA. AFSI is joint venture of Donaldson and Caterpillar established in 1986. The company´s aim is to use the experience of both partners to the maximum possible extent in order to satisfy the specific requirements of Caterpillar customer. The decision to establish a European branch came in 2007 and the Joseph Industrial Zone near the city of Most in North Bohemia was chosen for the location. Once this production plant has fully started up, it will serve the needs of Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. The controlling company in the USA will then serve the markets in North and South America.
